Our San Diego, CA client in the utilities industry needed to train its supply management team on using a new vendor management system. The supply management group oversees vendor selection, contracting, and other procurement activities across the organization’s regions. With the rollout of a new eProcurement platform called Ariba, our client required eLearning to upskill its supply managers on the system’s functionality and processes.
To meet this need, we developed a custom eLearning course focused specifically on the supply manager’s role in Ariba. The interactive course covers how to create and finalize contract workspaces, complete contracts, and amend existing agreements within the system. Beyond just the mechanics of Ariba, it also dives into the business rules, policies, and best practices for supply managers using the tool.
By partnering with subject matter experts at our utility client, we were able to build a tailored eLearning experience that prepares supply managers to adopt Ariba confidently. The course provides a strong foundation on both the technical point-and-click skills and the larger business processes enabled by the system. Our client now has an engaging training resource to support the rollout and user adoption of Ariba across its supply management organization. The on-demand eLearning course equips supply managers with the knowledge needed to leverage the new eProcurement platform for their day-to-day responsibilities.
