During this three-day workshop, you will be part of a select group of no more than ten students, all dedicated to mastering the art of training delivery. The course is designed to be highly interactive, with each participant leading segments and presenting a final training project, allowing you to put your newfound skills into practice and receive valuable feedback.
The curriculum is specifically tailored to equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to create a training plan that flows seamlessly from one topic to the next, incorporates interactive activities that enhance participation and understanding, and addresses any classroom challenges that may arise. What Is Included?
The fee for the public workshop is $2,300.00 when paid by ACH or check. There is a fee for paying with a major credit card. The registration fees include the following: workshop fees, participant materials, and one–on–one virtual feedback or design session up to six months following the workshop. IBCT application certification fees are an additional $565.00, collected by TrainSmart along with the required international certification documents and then submitted to the IBCT for review.
Fees are due 21 days before the workshop. There are no refunds. If a participant is unable to attend their scheduled workshop, they may reschedule within one year. They may transfer their credit to another person, with written permission.

What will I learn in the 3-day Train-the-Trainer workshop?
Over three days, participants learn how to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate more effective training for adult learners.
Topics include adult learning principles, audience analysis, instructional design methods, writing performance objectives, creating engaging learning activities, presentation and facilitation skills, questioning and listening techniques, managing participation, handling difficult classroom situations, evaluating training, and facilitating in virtual environments.
Participants also apply what they learn throughout the workshop to a training topic or project of their own.
What makes TRAINSMART’s Train-the-Trainer program different from other programs?
TRAINSMART combines experienced facilitators, small class sizes, hands-on practice, instructional design principles, and an externally certified program.
Rather than spending three days primarily listening to lectures, participants actively practice the skills they are learning through exercises, discussions, design activities, presentations, and facilitated feedback.
TRAINSMART’s three-day Train-the-Trainer program is also certified by the International Board of Certified Trainers (IBCT), providing an additional level of external validation beyond a self-certified training program.
What is Day 3 of the Train-the-Trainer workshop like?
Day 3 gives participants an opportunity to bring together what they have learned during the workshop.
Each participant facilitates a short training session on a topic of their choice. The session is designed to simulate a real training experience and allows participants to apply techniques related to instructional design, engagement, facilitation, questioning, delivery, and audience management.
Participants receive feedback on their performance and may use supporting materials such as slides, handouts, activities, or other training aids.
What certification can I earn after completing the workshop?
Successfully completing TRAINSMART’s three-day Train-the-Trainer workshop satisfies the professional education portion of the International Board of Certified Trainers certification process.
After completing the workshop, participants may apply for the appropriate IBCT trainer certification level. The certification level is based on factors such as professional experience and education.
TRAINSMART assists participants with the application and submission process, while final certification approval is determined by IBCT.
How much does the 3-day Atlanta Train-the-Trainer workshop cost?
The registration fee for the three-day Atlanta Train-the-Trainer workshop is $2,300 per participant.
The registration includes the three-day instructor-led workshop, along with the materials and learning activities associated with the program.

Are discounts available for government agencies or groups?
Yes. TRAINSMART offers a 10% discount for government agencies.
Organizations registering multiple participants may also contact TRAINSMART to discuss group registration options or a private Train-the-Trainer program for their organization.
What is the cancellation or transfer policy?
Workshop registration is confirmed once full payment has been received.
If TRAINSMART must cancel a workshop due to insufficient enrollment, confirmed participants will be notified and receive a full refund.
If a participant needs to cancel or cannot attend, the registration fee may be applied toward a future TRAINSMART Train-the-Trainer workshop, less a $100 reprocessing fee, provided the future workshop is completed within one year of the original workshop date.
Full cancellation requests must be made at least 21 business days before the first day of the workshop.
