TrainSmart provided the following training and development services for Lion’s Club International: new employee orientation, new manager training, compliance training, project management.

TrainSmart was hired to evaluate new managers, compliance and on-boarding training at Lion’s Club International. Originally, TrainSmart was supposed to look at enterprise-wide training as well.

TrainSmart consultants on the project felt as though a better use of the leftover hours would be to start creating documentation for the onboarding program. Lion’s Club International agreed to the change in scope and deliverables. TrainSmart created the following assets to support the onboarding program:

Onboarding Training for Hiring Managers

TrainSmart developed a training course for Hiring Managers. This course covers the following:

  • Define onboarding.
  • Understand the benefits and purpose of onboarding.
  • Recognize how to prepare for an onboarding program.
  • Identify ways to engage and follow up with employees.
  • Create expectations.
  • Understand how to use the Hiring Manager’s Onboarding Toolkit

The deliverables for this class include:

  • PPT for a training class
  • FG for a training class
  • Action plan

TrainSmart also delivered a Hiring Manager Toolkit. This toolkit is intended to be a participant guide in class but also a toolkit for after the training.

Hiring Manager Toolkit: This guide will help Hiring Managers capitalize on the opportunity to facilitate the seamless integration of new employees while they are most highly motivated toward learning and contributing. It provides an overview of the importance of onboarding, best practice guidelines, and tips/tools that will assist in a smooth and successful transition.

Onboarding Training for On-boarding Colleague

TrainSmart developed a training course for Onboarding Colleague. This workshop will help On-boarding Colleagues understand their role in a new employee’s success. It provides an overview of the importance of their role, best practice guidelines, and tips/tools that will assist in a smooth and successful onboarding.

It provides an overview of the onboarding process, best practice guidelines, and tips and tools that will assist in a smooth and successful transition. It also discusses a new employee’s responsibilities in this process, such as learning about the expectations of their role, working with their team, and following the regulations set forth by governing agencies.
