Purpose of the project:

Pediatric clinical trials are becoming much more prevalent, however, training on the regulations at clinical sites and at sponsors rarely addresses the intricacies associated with pediatrics and generally focuses on adult processes.

The IACT and DCRI collaboration worked to bridge this important training gap at the sponsor and clinical sites.

This course focuses on the US regulations for pediatric clinical trials.

TrainSmart started with a baseline PowerPoint presentation provided by IACT and DCRI. From this TS developed the following:

  • a custom eLearning course development with a unique look and feel
  • outline
  • learning outcomes
  • custom graphics
  • use of imagery associated with content (Shutterstock)
  • treatments for content

TS worked with the client to develop a cohesive course that flowed appropriately and remained visually appealing, while also assisting in content development, editing of language, development of assessment questions as well as the design and development of job aids.

This course consists of 2 modules with assessment questions after each section.
