Organization: The Institute of Internal Auditors
Subject: On-Site Train the Trainer In Orlando, FL – multiple sessions over three years
Location: Lake Mary, FL

The Institute of Internal Auditors uses volunteers to facilitate the Institute’s training programs.  The programs are designed and developed by the Institute. The institute engages and trains contractors to facilitate these programs.  The Institute’s program coordinators wanted to bring consistency to the training and raise the bar for the delivery of what could be a dry subject – auditing.

The Train-the-Trainer Program focused on helping participants develop creative ways to make the program concepts sticky and engaging. During the workshop participants practiced flexing their creativity with the content they would actually be teaching.

The workshop allowed the participants to showcase and share their extensive knowledge of auditing in ways they hadn’t considered. The participants now have the tools to present topics creatively and they have various methods for checking in on their learners to ensure the retention of the concepts they are teaching.
